Job Description Beauport Hospitality Group is seeking a proactive HR Business Partner to drive human resources initiatives for our Hotel Operations and Events Teams across all properties. You will serve as the day-to-day HR resource for staff and managers in Front Desk, Reservations, Valet, Housekeeping, Engineering, Events and other operational areas. This will role will oversee benefits administration, recruitment support, leaves of absence, performance management, employee relations and terminations. You will also coach leaders to cultivate a positive, high-performing culture and ensure full compliance with company policies and employment laws. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

In this role, you will be accountable for the core duties listed below. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as business needs evolve.

* Act as the primary HR contact for Hotel Operations and Events employees and managers via in-person meetings, phone and email * Advise supervisors on HR policies, performance issues, conflict resolution and disciplinary actions * Counsel employees on benefits, policies, leaves of absence and career development specific to events and hotel operations roles * Partner with Talent Acquisition to recruit and retain talent for Hotel Operations and the Events teams management positions; post openings, screen candidates and extend offers * Administer benefit programs (health, dental, vision, life, disability, retirement); manage enrollments, changes and terminations in the HRIS * Manage leaves of absence (FMLA and state-mandated): track eligibility, process paperwork and advise employees on return-to-work requirements * Support workforce planning for special events, peak seasons and ongoing property operations; partner with managers to forecast staffing needs * Develop and deliver training programs for guest-facing and back-of-house staff, including onboarding, safety protocols and leadership development * Lead employee relations investigations: document incidents, recommend corrective actions and ensure fair, consistent policy application * Ensure compliance with federal, state and local employment laws (EEO, ADA, FMLA, wage-hour) and internal HR policies * Prepare government-mandated and internal HR reports; maintain accurate records of hires, terminations, transfers, promotions and performance reviews * Drive the performance review process: collect documentation, track deadlines and coach managers on goal-setting, feedback and development planning * Provide one-on-one coaching to managers on leadership skills, team engagement and conflict resolution * Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback to identify retention opportunities * Travel regularly among Beauport Hospitality Group's properties to deliver on-site HR support

Experience and Skills Skills & Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field. * Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience; hospitality or F&B industry experience strongly preferred * Hands-on experience with Paylocity or similar HRIS/payroll system * Solid knowledge of state and federal employment laws and best-practice HR policies * Strong customer-service orientation with excellent interpersonal and communication skills * Demonstrated ability to coach and influence managers and build trusted relationships at all levels * High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential and sensitive information * Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment * Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS platforms * Reliable transportation for travel between properties

Physical Requirements Primarily office-based; requires sitting or standing for extended periods and frequent use of computers and telephones. Travel between properties during the day/week is required.
