Job Title: Forklift Operator
Job Description
Join a team with a rich history of over 100 years in supply chain solutions, supporting industries such as commercial aerospace, defense, automotive manufacturing, industrial equipment, and pharmaceuticals. We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our logistics warehouse and distribution center.
Responsibilities
Pick orders using paper pick sheets.
Operate stand-up reach lifts and sit-down forklifts.
Wrap pallets using the pallet wrapping machine.
Use forklifts to load and unload trucks.
Undergo 2-4 weeks of in-house training to ensure safety before operating a forklift.
Participate in cross-training to perform all warehouse functions, including order pulling, shipping, and receiving.
Essential Skills
At least 2 years of warehouse experience.
At least 1 year of experience with a sit-down forklift.
Ability to lift upwards of 50 lbs.
Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with RF scanners is a plus.
Experience with warehouse management software (WMS) is preferred.
Basic computer skills and data entry experience.
