Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule 12-hour night shifts; every other weekend required, with the possibility of more frequent scheduling if necessary. No call expected.
Job Description We are seeking an experienced NICU Registered Nurse for a travel position. The ideal candidate will float between various units including newborn NICU, mother/baby, nursery, and pedi/PICU with neonate feeder/grower. The position requires adherence to scheduled shifts, including occasional weekend requirements.
Responsibilities
Deliver comprehensive care for neonates and infants in a NICU setting.
Conduct newborn rounds, attend deliveries, and support mother/baby care.
Work collaboratively with a healthcare team to ensure the best outcomes for patients.
Maintain effective communication with families and provide essential education.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Level III NICU.
AHA BLS and NRP certifications required; STABLE and RNC-NIC preferred.
Experience in a large (500+ bed count) teaching facility is essential.
EPIC experience within the past 2 years is required.
Travel nursing experience preferred.
