Our Weymouth location offers more than 48 pediatric specialties and services (https://www.childrenshospital.org/about-us/locations/weymouth/specialty-services) , including MRI, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and a pulmonary function lab.
Key responsibilities:
Assisting patients on obtaining vital signs, measuring and recording routine information such as temperature, pulse and blood pressure, and performing other related duties according to specific needs of unit.
Scheduling, receiving and/or registering patients, visitors and staff for appointments or procedures.
Collecting, verifying and recording required information according to established procedures and instructions.
Identifying and reporting unusual findings or changes in patient condition to Registered Nurse.
Obtaining records, files and/or results for appointments and entering related information on appropriate computer systems.
Answering, screening and routing telephone calls and performing general office support tasks.
Assisting clinician during examinations (i.e. obtaining, measuring and recording routine information such as temperature and blood pressure, and performing other related duties according to specific needs of clinic).
Transporting patients, supplies and equipment as needed.
Monday-Friday, (4) 8 hour shifts. Flexibility within the hours of 730a-530p. Primary location will be Weymouth with the ability to float to Norwell and Milford.
Minimum qualifications
Education:
High School diploma or GED.
Experience:
1 year Clinical Assistant or Medical Assistant required.
Please note: During a public health emergency, individuals in this role may be expected to take on additional duties to respond to organizational needs. Office/Site Location:WeymouthRegular, Temporary, Per Diem:Regular Remote Eligibility :Onsite Only
