Titla-Data Analyst

Location: mclean, VA
In office: 3 days a week
Interview process: one and done interview
Contract: 9 months extendable
Must have: data analysis, data pipeline and visualization, and AWS

Job Description:

Team:
FinOps teams- for cloud management, Sit centrally, scale through different divisions
Team is composed of 7 engineers total - 3 software engineers
3 data insight engineers

What they do/ are doing:
Cloud spend and usage

• Gather data round this cloud usage/ spend
• Get insight of how cloud usage is across company
• Create visualizations cloud - how it can be more effective for teams
• Pull data from cloud, create insights, and visualizations

Tools:
AWS, Snowflake, Tableau
Google sheets, excel
Pyspark, SQL, Pull data then data analytics Join data sets- smaller transformations

• Large volume of data

Capabilities / Skillsets:
AWS Solution Architect (enterprise cloud. Not using single micro but needs knowledge across all services)
Data Visualization (no specific tools. Quicksite and redash)
Data Analytics
Data Pipelines / ETL
Cloud Database/Warehouses (Snowflake, RDS, etc)

Languages:
Python (no java) pyspark
SQL - snowflake
Spark / MapReduce
Google Sheets and/or Excel Proficiency (nice to have)
