Responsibilities:

  1. Develop detailed technical specifications and designs for waterfall/XP projects and system enhancements.
  2. Provide application domain knowledge to the ADM team.
  3. Manage unstable applications and systems by helping to resolve incidents and issues.
  4. Support infrastructure first build with Solution Architects and Infrastructure Engineers.
  5. Review, guide, troubleshoot, and resolve contentious issues escalated during implementation.
  6. Evaluate integration of SaaS / COTS packages into the current environment.
  7. Develop operating procedures and user manuals for transition into routine operations.
  8. Build knowledge databases for technology, solutions, and domain areas.
  9. Collaborate with architecture, application services, infrastructure, release management, and other stakeholders to enable smooth deployment.
  10. Continuously work on capturing and transferring tacit knowledge to vendors and knowledge management systems.

Required Job Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of Information Technology experience OR Technical Certification and/or College Courses with 4 years of IT experience OR 6 years of IT experience.
  2. Knowledge of application configuration.
  3. Knowledge of Big Data Analytics - HAVeN / HADOOP / Autonomy / Vertica.
  4. Knowledge of Cloud computing / SaaS / IaaS / PaaS technologies.
  5. Knowledge of Integration Technologies - Tibco / Informatica / CAS.
  6. Knowledge of Mobile technologies - Phonegap / iOS / Android / Java / HTML5.
  7. Knowledge of Scripting Languages - BASH / PERL / PYTHON / RUBY.
  8. Experience with Service Oriented Architecture - SOAP / REST.
  9. Proficiency in Web Technologies - HTML / CSS / Java / ASP.Net / PHP / Ruby / C#.
  10. Experience with rapid prototyping.
  11. Requirements definition and management.
  12. Familiarity with SDLC Methodology - Agile / Scrum / Iterative Development.
  13. System performance management skills.
  14. Conceptual and creative thinking abilities.
  15. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  16. Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Preferred Job Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  2. Ability to execute tasks effectively.
