Overview

TeleSolv Consulting has an immediate opportunity to work with the Federal Government as a Financial Analyst.

This is an ONSITE position based in Washington, DC. This role involves work related to Criminal investigative experience dealing with Seizure & Forfeiture. It is not primarily a technical role. Prior banking experience, or federal seizure/forfeiture experience, with experience reviewing banking records, is a strong background.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Government with ensuring accountability and accuracy of Government fiscal records.
  • Assist with the preparation of financial documents such as deposit slips, obligation forms, transfer forms, and payment forms using templates provided by the Government.
  • Assist with financial records maintenance to ensure information is input into the Government database and filed appropriately.
  • Enter monetary assets and payment information into the Government database.
  • Assist the Government with monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliation and inventory reports for cash and monetary instruments.
  • Maintain logs to track the movement of seized and forfeited monetary assets.
  • Other duties as mission needs and within the scope of this contract.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate degree or two years of financial/data management work experience demonstrating records management (along with a High School Diploma or GED).
  • Active Public Trust Tier 4a Security Clearance, or the ability to obtain and maintain.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • One year of general work experience.

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience reviewing or auditing financial documents.

The government’s tolerances vary, with mitigating circumstances, and aims to confirm generally good financial standing, up-to-date tax filings, rehiring eligibility with prior employers, and adherence to federal restrictions on illegal drug use and related checks of character and trustworthiness.
