Industrial Maintenance Technician

Join Our Team as an Industrial Maintenance Technician! Responsibilities: Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and use of required PPE and safety equipment. Set up machine control systems for production needs and manage plate changeovers effectively. Conduct regular preventive maintenance inspections on production equipment and machinery. Perform repairs on mechanical components and replace parts, including bearings, filters, wiring, valves, gauges, and switches. Diagnose issues by observing and listening to machinery in operation. Dismantle equipment to access and remove defective parts as necessary. Adjust functional parts and control instruments to ensure optimal performance. Examine used parts to assess necessary changes in dimensions. Maintain cleanliness and lubrication of machinery to uphold preventive maintenance standards in the plant. Record and track changeover times accurately. Complete work orders diligently to enhance safety, reduce downtime, minimize waste, improve production quality, and increase plant efficiency. Follow all safety guidelines, including Lockout/Tagout procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment using 5S standards. Perform additional duties as assigned. Requirements: High School Diploma or GED. 3-5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting, or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Ability to interpret documents such as procedure manuals, blueprints, schematics, etc. Proficient with precision measuring instruments like amp meters and hydraulic gauges. Basic understanding of systems, equipment, and schematics. Skilled in practical problem-solving in variable situations with limited standardization. Excellent troubleshooting abilities. Basic math skills for calculations involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and use of decimals and fractions. Demonstrate professionalism, responsibility, and commitment to all assigned tasks. Electrical experience is a plus.
