Job Summary:
Lighting Engineer – The Coca Cola Roxy (part-time)
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
- Perform load-in of band equipment and rental equipment.
- Set up and break down band and event equipment.
- Make focus and lighting adjustments according to artist or event specifications.
- Operate and program spotlight operations and lighting control boards.
- Maintain and repair lighting equipment.
- Assist with production throughout the venue as needed.
- Accommodate artist and event A/V requirements.
- Ensure the safe and consistent operation of lighting.
- Assist with technical advance preparations with artist representatives.
- Ensure proper care and handling of all HOBE and rental lighting and A/V equipment.
- Interact with visiting production crews to ensure successful shows.
- Create or distribute lighting plot plans.
- Oversee and operate lighting systems throughout the entire event.
- Schedule and meet lighting needs for special events.
- Assist audio crew with stands, microphones, cables, etc.
- Support operations for any special events.
