What does a Fleet Technician do at Swire Coca-Cola?
This is a full-time industrial level auto-mechanic position, responsible for performing maintenance, running diagnostics and repairing our medium to heavy duty diesel trucks and trailers. You will inspect fleet vehicles, troubleshoot and resolve issues, and play a crucial role in keeping our trucks safe and on the road!

Schedule: Shift start times may vary depending on business needs.

Please note that this is a union role, and shifts can change based on seniority.

Pay: $32.00/HR

Responsibilities:

• Maintain diesel equipment operation by completing inspections and preventive maintenance requirements.
• Determine vehicle condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests.
• Keep equipment available for use by completing preventive maintenance schedules.
• Correct vehicle deficiencies by removing, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, assembling, disassembling, and replacing major assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, parts, or systems, such as power and drive trains, electrical, air conditioning, fuel, emission, brake, steering, hydraulics.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma (or GED) required.
• 2+ years diagnostic, maintenance and repair of Class 7 & 8 diesel trucks and trailers required.
• Own your own set of tools.

Base pay $32.00 plus bonus structure (dependent on role). Pay offered will depend on candidate’s geographic location, prior relevant experience, knowledge, skills, & abilities.

Employees and families offered Medical, Dental, Vision; union pension with employer contributions; Sick pay awarded at 1 hour per 40 hours worked, annually 7 paid holidays plus up to 2 floating holidays; Vacation of 40 hours available next calendar year; Eligible for paid Bereavement and Jury Duty. Additionally includes Standby (On-Call) Pay.
