Overview

Position Title: Seasonal Elevator Operator

Wage: $17.00/hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 7:00am - 7:30pm (Monday - Saturday), 12:00pm - 5:00pm (Sunday)

Duration: Seasonal (Now Through Mid-November)

Seasonal Elevator Operator Responsibilities

• Assist with loading and unloading grain
• Keep facilities clean and orderly by sweeping corn/beans off the floor
• Crank open hoppers to release grain into floor grates
• Open wagon side drawers to release grain into floor grates
• Occasionally load bags of corn into customer trucks

Requirements for Seasonal Elevator Operator

• Ability to occasionally lift / carry up to 50lbs
• Comfortable bending, reaching, climbing, crouching and standing for long periods on concrete
• Ability to frequently apply up to 100 lbs. of force to crank open hoppers and wagon gates using hands and arms
• Willingness to work in dusty conditions
