Highland Rivers Behavioral Health provides treatment and recovery services to individuals impacted by mental illness, substance use disorders and intellectual developmental disabilities.
Job Summary: The Listening, Inspiring, and Guiding Healthy Transitions (LIGHT) Program is an Early Treatment Program (ETP) that provides transitional services to individuals in Cobb County. The LIGHT Program is a team based, multi-element approach to treating transition age youth and young adults, ages 16-30 years old with FEP (First Episode Psychosis). The team of professionals will include a Psychiatrist, Registered Nurse, Employment Specialist, Family Education and Support Provider, Behavioral Health Therapist - Lead, Case Manager, and Certified Peer Specialist

Responsibilities Include: Provide behavioral health assessments, diagnostic assessments, individual, group, and family therapy in clinic, via telehealth and in community setting. Hold and maintain caseload of Youth/Young Adults individuals ages 16-30. Develop personalized treatment plans. Preform marketing activities and community outreach Collaborate with outside agency staff to promote mental health services and referrals. Attend treatment team meetings as directed by Director. Coordinate/lead treatment meetings and ensure related documentation is completed. Ensure and provide high quality, compassionate, and ethical mental health therapy to improve program and organizational performance. Assess and evaluate individuals' needs, strengths, goals and resources. Develop Individual Service Plans with clients utilizing the assessment tools approved by DBHDD. Provide referrals to additional Highland Rivers Programs or community services when needed. Ensure and maintain appropriate usage and allotment of units authorized per service delivery. Intervene, stabilize and manage acute crisis situations as needed. Maintain confidentiality for all indirect/direct service in accordance with agency policies and HIPPA policies. Provide leadership/supervision to program staff directly assigned by the Director. Other responsibilities and tasks as may be assigned Benefits:

Requirements
Requirements:
1. LMSW, LCSW, LPC, APC or LMFT License in the state of Georgia
2. 1 years' experience working with mental health
3. Skilled in working independently and implementing time management strategies
4. Must be able to pass an intensive criminal background investigation
5. Pre-Employment and random drug screening
