Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OTR) - Carlisle, PA
Shift: Full-time; Outpatient setting; Two evenings per week until 7:00 PM; No weekends or on-call
Job Summary & Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to home, school, and community goals. Deliver play-based, evidence-based occupational services. Utilize sensory integration and therapeutic play approaches. Accurately document sessions in compliance with clinic and insurance requirements. Collaborate with COTAs, PTs, SLPs, and caregivers to ensure holistic care. Mentor and supervise COTAs per licensure regulations. Participate in program development, mentorship, and team collaboration initiatives. Education, Licensure, and Experience:
Master's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Licensed Occupational Therapist (OTR) in Pennsylvania, or eligible to obtain. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with children, caregivers, and team members. Ability to independently manage a caseload and treatment plans. Passion for working with children in a play-based environment. Preferred: pediatric outpatient experience, sensory integration knowledge, familiarity with autism spectrum disorder, feeding delays, developmental milestones, experience supervising COTAs, and EMR documentation skills. Open to new graduates.
