Hiring for Mid-Level Estimator (~5 years General Contractor Estimating experience) No need for hard bid experience; mostly CMAR projects, private sector (fire stations, libraries, municipal buildings) Mid-level role expected to be in office 90% of the time, occasional site visits Salary range for Mid-Level Estimator: $80k-$100k, open to more for strong candidates Estimator career ladder: Estimator 1, 2, 3 Senior Estimator 1, 2 Chief Estimator Prefer candidates to be local due to subcontractor relationships Projects and Backlog

Develop detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including labor, materials, and equipment. Collaborate with project teams to understand project scope and requirements. Analyze project documents, such as blueprints and specifications, to prepare accurate estimates. Identify and solicit bids from qualified subcontractors and suppliers. Evaluate bids to ensure alignment with project requirements and budgets. Prepare and present estimate reports to clients and stakeholders. Monitor and update estimates as project details evolve. Maintain accurate records of estimates and related documentation. The Successful Applicant
A successful General Contracting Estimator should have:
A strong background in construction estimating, with a focus on general contracting projects, commercial experience required, municipal project is a plus. Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction documents, including blueprints and specifications. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with estimating software and tools. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with teams and clients. An ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently. What's on Offer
