Purchasing Coordinator

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a growing company in Mesa, AZ that is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator to join their team. This is a full-time onsite Monday through Friday position. Must have 2 years of Purchasing experience to qualify. Pay range $24.00-$26.00 per hour depending on prior experience.
Job Summary:
The Purchasing Coordinator will be responsible for managing the procurement process, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. This role involves coordinating with suppliers, maintaining inventory levels, and supporting various departments to meet their purchasing needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Research and identify potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage relationships with vendors to ensure the best possible terms and quality of goods. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with departments to forecast needs and ensure timely replenishment of stock. Process purchase orders, track deliveries, and resolve any issues related to shipments or billing discrepancies. Collect and analyze data to support strategic sourcing decisions and improve procurement processes. Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies and industry regulations. Work closely with various departments, including finance, operations, and customer service, to understand their needs and provide procurement support. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred but not required. High School Diploma or Equivalent is required. Minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in a similar industry. Strong negotiation skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Experience with procurement software such as SAP, QuickBooks, or similar systems. Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
