Overview

Rock Pros USA is seeking a reliable and skilled Portable Pressure Washer Operator to clean and maintain heavy equipment used in rock crushing operations. The primary responsibility of this role is operating portable pressure washing equipment to clean loaders, haul trucks, conveyors, crushers, and other heavy machinery. The operator may also move equipment as needed and tow trailers with washing equipment between quarry locations. The ideal candidate demonstrates a customer service mindset, maintains a clean and organized work environment, and accurately documents any repair or maintenance needs observed during cleaning.

Primary Duties – Portable Pressure Washing

• Operates portable pressure washing equipment to clean heavy quarry equipment, including loaders, haul trucks, conveyors, crushers, and other machinery.
• Ensures all equipment is thoroughly cleaned to maintain operational efficiency and safety standards.
• Documents and reports repair needs or equipment issues observed during cleaning.
• Works during off-hours or scheduled times to minimize disruption to quarry operations.

Supporting Duties

• Moves heavy equipment as needed to facilitate cleaning and maintenance tasks.
• Tows trailers behind trucks to transport pressure washing equipment to various locations.
• Safely secures trailers and loads/unloads equipment, ensuring proper weight distribution.
• Maintains and cleans work trucks, trailers, and pressure washing equipment.
• Performs basic equipment checks, reporting any malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly.
• Communicates effectively with supervisors, colleagues, and other teams.

Other Duties

• Maintains accurate records of cleaning activities, equipment usage, and observed repair needs.
• Adheres to all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing required PPE.
• Demonstrates a customer service mindset in interactions with colleagues and internal teams.

Physical Demands & Working Conditions

• Work is physically demanding: requires lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, bending, stooping, kneeling, and working in various positions.
• Work is performed outdoors in all weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and wind.
• Work environment may involve exposure to dust, noise, and vibrations.

Requirements

• Experience operating portable pressure washing equipment, preferably on heavy equipment.
• Ability to move heavy machinery as needed to facilitate cleaning.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to tow trailers safely.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety procedures.
• Reliable, punctual, and honest with a strong work ethic.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and customer service skills.
• Organized, maintains a clean and safe work environment.
• Ability to work off-hours or flexible shifts as needed.
