We are seeking a
Data Governance Analyst
to develop, implement, and oversee policies and practices that ensure the integrity, security, and effective use of organizational data. This role partners closely with cross-functional teams and leadership, driving data governance initiatives, optimizing data quality, and ensuring compliance across core systems. The position may also include team leadership responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain data governance policies, procedures, and standards to ensure data integrity, security, and regulatory compliance. Lead data governance and MDM initiatives, collaborating with departments to embed best practices. Monitor, report, and improve data governance performance metrics. Provide staff training and ongoing support on governance policies. Partner with vendors and internal teams to optimize data tools and systems in line with governance standards. Support and maintain core systems (e.g., ERP, HRIS, Filevine) to ensure accuracy and consistency. Assist in integrating and managing data tools such as Palantir, Data Sentinel, Qlik, and ETL platforms. Potentially manage a team to execute data governance initiatives and improve overall data quality. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Computer Science, or related field. 3+ years of experience in data governance, MDM, or related fields. Preferred: 2+ years in a law firm environment and experience with case management systems like Filevine. Proficiency with data management and BI tools (Palantir, Data Sentinel, Qlik, ETL). Strong knowledge of data governance principles and best practices. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and cross-functionally; management experience a plus.
