Virtus Healthcare Staffing is searching for a dedicated and skilled Outpatient Physical Therapist (PT) to join our partner, a medical center in Hobbs, NM. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional to provide high-quality rehabilitative care in a community-focused environment. Position Overview

As an Outpatient Physical Therapist, you will play a critical role in helping patients restore function, reduce pain, and improve their overall quality of life. You will be responsible for evaluating patients with various conditions, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing hands-on therapy to help them achieve their rehabilitation goals. This is a full-time, day-shift position with a predictable Monday-to-Friday schedule, promoting a healthy work-life balance.

Responsibilities

Perform initial and ongoing physical therapy assessments to evaluate patients' conditions and functional limitations. Design and implement personalized, evidence-based treatment plans and therapeutic exercise programs. Provide direct patient care, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and other modalities. Educate patients and their families on their conditions, treatment plans, and proper techniques for exercises and movements. Document patient progress accurately and promptly in electronic medical records. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care. Work Schedule

This is a full-time position with a consistent schedule:

Monday - Friday:

8:00 am to 5:00 pm Qualifications

Required Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program. A New Mexico Physical Therapist License is required upon hire. A National Provider BLS from the American Heart Association is required upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications: A minimum of

2 years of experience

in a rehabilitation setting. Expertise as a Neonatal Therapist is a plus.
