Work Eligibility:

Responsibilities:
- Lead system design of complex software, hardware and firmware solutions that define future Sol-Ark products and ensure the interoperability of them with existing and future systems.
- Resulting design must ensure adherence to project specifications, and quality standards.
- Strong experience in delivering solutions in line with defined schedules and timelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, firmware engineers, software engineers, security engineers and test engineers, to define system level requirements and interfaces.
- Participate in the full product development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and documentation.
- Debug and troubleshoot software and hardware integration issues, utilizing appropriate tools and techniques.
- Conduct design reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure product quality and maintainability.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies related to all constituent technologies hardware, firmware, software, security and testing.
- Mentor and provide guidance to other lead engineers, sharing your knowledge and experience.
- Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical direction when needed.
- Create and manage clear and concise documentation for all designs, development processes, and project deliverables.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Electrical / Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Over 10 years of combined experience in embedded software development on microcontrollers, hardware development and software development.
- Solid understanding of real-time operating systems, embedded systems architectures, and software/hardware integration.
- Solid understanding of software architectures and modern micro-service architectures.
- Proficiency in debugging and troubleshooting complex systems using hardware and software debugging tools.
- Familiarity with software configuration management tools and version control systems.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet project deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
Desired Qualifications:
- Knowledge of power electronics and control algorithms.
- Familiarity with functional safety standards (ISO 26262) and safety-critical software development.
- Experience in developing software for real-time control applications.
- Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Perl, etc.) for automation and testing purposes.
- Familiarity with software development methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum.
