About the Role

We are seeking an IT Hardware & MDM Administrator to take ownership of our end-user computing environment, with a primary focus on Microsoft Intune and enterprise hardware support. This role replaces a key team member and will be responsible for managing mobile devices, industrial printing systems, EUC hardware, and vendor relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Mobile Device Management (MDM): Administer and support mobile device fleets using Microsoft Intune (transition from SOTI MobiControl). Ensure seamless enrollment, configuration, compliance, and lifecycle management.
• Printer & Labeling Systems: Manage deployment, troubleshooting, and maintenance of industrial printing systems including Zebra and Markem-Imaje print engines and applicator arms.
• Hardware Lifecycle: Oversee procurement and vendor management for end-user computing (EUC) hardware. Establish standardized configurations to reduce variability and ensure enterprise supportability.
• Technical Support: Provide advanced troubleshooting for all EUC devices desktops, laptops, mobile scanners, tablets, and peripherals.
• Fleet & Site Management: Lead initiatives for printer and device uptime, optimizing consumable usage, maintenance schedules, and cross-site support.
• Collaboration: Partner with IT, operations, and procurement teams to align hardware/MDM strategy with business objectives.

Required Qualifications

• 37 years experience in IT administration or end-user computing.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Microsoft Intune (enrollment, compliance, device management).
• Familiarity with SOTI MobiControl or other MDM platforms a plus.
• Experience with industrial printers (Zebra required, Markem-Imaje nice to have).
• Background in EUC hardware procurement, vendor management, and lifecycle standards.
• Solid troubleshooting skills for desktops, laptops, mobile scanners, and peripherals.
• Familiarity with Windows 10/11 and enterprise device environments.
