Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist for an outpatient setting, requiring an active MI license and at least 2 years of recent outpatient experience.
Responsibilities Outpatient physical therapy department Monday through Thursday schedule with 9-hour shifts; options include 9:30am–7:00pm, 8:30am–6:00pm, or 8:00am–5:30pm Average caseload of 9 patients per day covering all age groups from neonate to geriatric No blocked scheduling allowed Technology used: Redoc (Net Health) for documentation Potential for floating to a nearby sister hospital Direct patient care using age-appropriate standards for all patient populations Independent work expected as well as collaboration with the therapy team Completion of online modules on-site prior to start date with a passing score required COVID-19 vaccination required Must report to lab for drug screening within 24 hours of commitment
Requirements Active, unrestricted Michigan Physical Therapist license required if applicable Current BLS certification through AHA required Minimum 2 years of recent outpatient physical therapy experience required Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy with 5 years of experience, or Master's/Doctorate from a CAPTE-accredited program Demonstrated ability in problem-solving and effective communication Knowledge of care for a broad patient population including neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric
