We are seeking a dynamic and experienced
HR Manager
to oversee and manage all aspects of the human resources function, including payroll processing, talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance, and benefits administration. The ideal candidate will have
hands-on experience with Paylocity , including payroll, HRIS, benefits administration, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Payroll & HRIS (Paylocity):
Process bi-weekly or semi-monthly payroll through
Paylocity , ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Maintain employee data within the Paylocity system, including new hires, terminations, job changes, and compensation adjustments.
Generate custom reports and analytics from Paylocity to support business decisions.
Manage employee self-service portals and troubleshoot Paylocity-related issues. Human Resources Management:
Develop, implement, and manage HR policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
Act as a point of contact for employee questions, conflicts, and disciplinary matters.
Manage onboarding and offboarding processes, including orientation and exit interviews.
Ensure proper documentation and recordkeeping for compliance and audit readiness. Talent Acquisition & Development:
Coordinate full-cycle recruitment including job postings, interviews, and offer letters.
Collaborate with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and support department growth.
Develop and deliver training programs to support employee development and company policies. Benefits & Leave Administration:
Administer benefits programs including health, dental, vision, FSA/HSA, and 401(k).
Manage leave requests (FMLA, disability, etc.) in compliance with applicable regulations.
Conduct open enrollment using Paylocity's benefits module and support employee education. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
3+ years of HR experience , including at least
1 year working with Paylocity
(payroll and HRIS functions).
Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and HR compliance standards.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) a plus. Preferred Skills:
Experience working in [insert relevant industry: manufacturing, logistics, retail, etc.].
Bilingual skills (e.g., English/Spanish) a plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Compensation:
$100,000 to $120,000 annually Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
