Position Summary

Identify talent, build meaningful connections, and drive growth by guiding recruits from interest to application. As a Recruiter, you'll attract mission-aligned individuals, assess their potential, and foster strong, collaborative relationships to advance the work of JAARS.

Position Responsibilities

  • Execute recruiting strategies and promote the JAARS brand under the direction of the Director of Recruitment.
  • Actively pray for and support leads, offering mentorship and discipleship when appropriate.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for recruits, ensuring clear, consistent communication across departments.
  • Build trust and rapport with recruitment leads throughout the exploration and application process.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, advocating for their needs and expectations.
  • Manage recruitment caseload, ensuring accurate documentation and timely updates in Salesforce.
  • Screen resumes and candidate qualifications in collaboration with Human Resources.
  • Provide regular updates to the Director of Recruitment and collaborate with the team.
  • Represent JAARS at recruiting events and other experiences as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

  • Skilled at identifying alignment between recruits' strengths and organizational needs.
  • Willing to travel
  • Experience with Google Workspace and Salesforce (or willingness to learn)
  • Bachelor's degree
