About the Role: We are seeking a Data Analyst/Scientist to join our team and support the development, maintenance, and expansion of advanced data and AI/ML-driven solutions in the healthcare space. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Python and SQL, cloud data pipelines, and predictive modeling, as well as the ability to collaborate with external partners and manage cross-functional projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage AI/ML systems that extract structured data from unstructured pdf's and combine with IoT device data to generate actionable insights Develop and refine these models through prompt engineering, training and validation Perform statistical analyses and maintain statistical/analytic models in Python Regularly refresh models and expand datasets to support new analyses and clinical use cases Utilize SQL, Snowflake, and Azure Data Factory to extract, transform, and load data Collaborate with external data engineering consultants to enhance system capabilities and data pipelines Partner with clinical and business stakeholders to define requirements and deliver data-driven insights Lead and manage data projects from planning through execution, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes Qualifications:
3-5 years of professional experience as a Data Analyst, Data Scientist, or related role Proficiency in Python (statistical analysis, machine learning, predictive modeling) Strong SQL skills with experience in Snowflake and Azure Data Factory Experience managing projects and working with third-party data engineering consultants Familiarity with prompt engineering, model training, and validation a plus Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially in working with clinical or non-technical stakeholders Preferred Skills:
Background in healthcare or life sciences data Experience with IoT data integration Knowledge of gradient boosting frameworks (e.g., XGBoost, LightGBM, CatBoost) Understanding of modern data architecture and cloud-based data solutions
