Job Title: Forklift Operator
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to efficiently move materials using a forklift, primarily standing but occasionally sitting. The role involves loading trailers and flatbeds, transporting materials to and from production areas, and managing inventory using a high-reach truck. The operator will use RF scanner and tracking systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency in material handling. The position also includes preparing shipments of completed equipment, accessories, and service parts, ensuring products are properly loaded for shipment. Quality checks of materials and workmanship are essential, with responsibility for maintaining the quality of finished work. The operator is expected to keep accurate records and documents.
Responsibilities
Operate forklift to move materials for loading trailers, flatbeds, and production areas.
Utilize high-reach truck to access materials from high shelves.
Use RF scanner and tracking systems for efficient material handling.
Prepare shipments of completed equipment, accessories, and service parts.
Ensure products are properly loaded for shipment.
Perform quality checks on materials and workmanship.
Maintain the quality of finished work.
Keep accurate records and documents.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in picking, loading, and unloading materials.
Experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts.
Skill in using RF scanner and tracking systems.
Knowledge of inventory management and material handling.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with forklift or high-reach truck is preferred.
Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
