Job Description – Licensed Addiction Counselor / Mental Health Therapist We are hiring a licensed counselor (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, SAC-IT, SAC, CSAC or related credential) to join our treatment team. In this role, you will manage a client caseload averaging 12, providing evidence-based care for individuals and families impacted by addiction and mental health challenges.

Responsibilities:

Conduct intakes, assessments, and evaluations for clients entering treatment.

Develop and implement biopsychosocial treatment plans tailored to client needs.

Facilitate individual therapy, group therapy, and family counseling sessions.

Provide substance use disorder counseling, relapse prevention, and recovery support services.

Coordinate treatment planning, referrals, and discharge planning with outside providers.

Collaborate with medical staff, psychiatric care providers, and case managers to ensure integrated services.

Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines.

Participate in staff trainings, community outreach events, and cultural competency initiatives.

Represent WisHope at professional meetings, trainings, and community events.

Deliver compassionate, client-centered care in line with best practices for addiction counseling and mental health treatment.
