About the Role

At Catapult, we are supporting our member, ATI Decorative Laminates, in their search for an HR Generalist. This is an onsite role in Greensboro, NC.

ATI is seeking a knowledgeable and adaptable HR Generalist to lead all aspects of human resources within the organization. This is a hands-on HR role that covers a broad range of responsibilities spanning recruiting and onboarding to compliance, employee relations, and benefits administration. The ideal candidate is proactive, resourceful, and comfortable balancing strategic priorities with day-to-day HR operations in a manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and apply HR policies, programs, and procedures that support a productive and compliant workplace.
  • Manage recruitment efforts and support workforce planning, including development and succession planning.
  • Administer compensation and benefits programs.
  • Provide guidance to leadership and staff on employee relations and coordinate training and development efforts across the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with quality (ISO 9001) and environmental (ISO 14001) standards.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts related to HR and organizational effectiveness.
  • Plan company events in collaboration with the Employee Engagement team.
  • Foster a work environment aligned with ATI's values and mission.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 7-10 years of HR experience, preferably in a standalone or generalist role and/or manufacturing setting.
  • PHR, SPHR, or SHRM certification is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and HR systems.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities with professionalism and confidentiality.
