Preventive Maintenance Lead Technician
to join their team in
Atlanta, GA . This is an exciting opportunity to work hands-on with top-tier equipment, mentor a team of technicians, and build a rewarding career within a supportive, safety-driven environment.
Earnings
$32 - $45 hourly
Location - In Office Fairburn, GA Job Type
Duties
Maintain exceptional attention to detail and recommend additional service needs beyond the initial scope of work. Collaborate with the coordinator to ensure appropriate staffing for all maintenance tasks. Deliver outstanding customer service and communicate clearly using industry-standard terminology. Perform hydro testing, combustion analysis, and troubleshoot issues involving boilers, deaerators, feed tanks, and pumps. Conduct monthly safety inspections and ensure compliance with OSHA and industry safety standards. Train entry-level technicians on boiler shutdown, opening, annual maintenance, closing, and proper startup procedures. Lead and mentor a team of technicians in performing preventive maintenance on industrial and hydronic boilers. Requirements
Detail-oriented with a proactive mindset for recommending additional services and repairs. Excellent customer service abilities and professional communication skills. Ability to train and coach entry-level technicians in technical procedures and safety practices. Strong troubleshooting skills, especially related to hydro testing and combustion analysis. Expertise in industrial and hydronic boiler systems, preventive maintenance, and repairs. Minimum 3-5 years of proven experience as a Lead Boiler Maintenance Technician. Hands-on experience with manufacturers like Cleaver Brooks, Hurst, Kewanee, Superior, Fulton, Johnston, York Shipley, and others. Knowledge of boiler feedwater systems, pumps, and deaerators.
