Role Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tableau Engineer to design, develop, and maintain advanced data visualization solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Tableau development, data modeling, and performance optimization, with a focus on delivering actionable insights to business stakeholders. Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and deploy interactive Tableau dashboards and reports. Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Optimize Tableau workbooks and data extracts for performance and scalability. Create and maintain calculated fields, parameters, and complex Tableau functions. Work with data engineering teams to ensure data quality, consistency, and accuracy. Support end-users with Tableau training, troubleshooting, and enhancements. Ensure compliance with data governance and security standards. Required Skills:
Proven experience as a Tableau Developer/Engineer (5+ years preferred). Strong knowledge of Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server/Online, and Tableau Prep. Expertise in SQL and relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake). Experience with data modeling, ETL, and performance tuning. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
