**Summary**Legends Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for the Cashier Position for the **2025 Breeders' Cup** at the Del Mar Fairgrounds & Racetrack Live Horse Racing season for Premier Food Services, Inc.Responsible for – Performs the daily activities of the cashier function by performing the following duties:**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**Include the following:* Maintains accurate accounting of all credit card sales on assigned location.* Performs location worker assignments.* Organizes all paperwork for cashier responsibilities including cash slips, over-ring and under-ring forms, and house charges.* Verifies the proper items prices to the menu* Verifies restaurant staff transactions and keeps cash register balanced.* Monitors the proper recording of meal vouchers.* Maintains accurate credit card handling procedures at all times.* Follows all rules and regulations of Food and Beverage area.* Performs other related duties as assigned by supervisor.**Supervisory Responsibilities** N/A**Qualifications**To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.**Education and/or Experience*** High School or GED* Must have basic working knowledge of cash register and cash handling procedures.* Restaurant experience – a plus.**Skills and Abilities*** Must be at least 18 years of age.* Must have sufficient math ability to accurately count and handle money.* Must be able to use cash register.* Must have basic working knowledge of concession/cafeteria operation.* Must have ability to follow directions and effectively perform the work.* Must have a pleasant personality and a neat appearance.* Must speak and understand English well enough to converse with customers, supervisors and employees.* Must be able to be move between buildings and food areas and stand for long periods 2-4 hours.**Computer Skills**Aloha POS systems – a plus.**Compensation**This position’s compensation is $21.36 per hour.**Other Qualifications**DependabilityBackground check requiredMust be able to work weekends, holidays, full week.**Physical Demands**The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
