Location: Fort Hood, TX Commissary. Shifts: Part-Time Nights, Mon., Tues., Thurs., Fri., Sat. 10PM - Job Complete (Off Sun. and Wed.) OR Part-Time Nights, Mon., Tues., Wed., Fri., Sat. 10PM - Job Complete (Off Sun. and Thurs.).

Position Summary

Reporting to the Project Manager and Supervisor, the Janitor is responsible for developing work skills and performing work at the assigned site.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize and restock bathrooms including sinks, toilets, glass and mirrors, stall walls, stainless steel and sweeping and mopping floors. Vacuum, sweep, mop floors and stairs.
• Empty trash and various recyclable cans and replace liners, clean receptacles, as necessary.
• Dust and clean office areas, desks and furniture that are not cluttered. Clean windowsills and windows. Obtain tools necessary for the job to be completed.
• Clean break rooms and other areas that are applicable to the contract.
• Operate equipment safely.
• Contribute to teamwork by training and helping co-workers.
• Continually perform duties with a special focus on safety, quality and customer service.

Minimum Qualifications

• Pass federal and state background checks
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to follow instructions
• Lifting and carrying up to 45 lbs.
• Pushing and pulling up to 45 lbs.
