In this role, you will help keep our buildings clean and orderly by performing heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, washing walls, cleaning glass, removing trash, vacuuming, stocking kitchens, and / or cleaning restrooms. You'll follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment and maintain/repair motorized cleaning equipment. Your duties will also include managing supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance and notifying management of the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems. You must be comfortable working around aircraft and able to work independently and as part of a team. In this dynamic role, you will be an essential part of our team, ensuring our buildings shine and operate smoothly. Your daily responsibilities will include a variety of tasks such as:

  • Transforming Spaces: Keep our floors spotless, walls gleaming, glass sparkling, and restrooms immaculate.
  • Creating Order: Manage and stock kitchens, ensuring they are well-equipped and inviting.
  • Maintaining Cleanliness: Use your skills with chemical cleaners and power equipment to maintain a pristine environment.
  • Operating Equipment: Repair and maintain motorized cleaning tools to keep everything running smoothly.
  • Managing Supplies: Oversee and organize all cleaning and maintenance supplies.
  • Ensuring Safety: Notify management promptly about any major repairs or system upgrades needed.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent and typically 2 or more years of previous janitorial experience
    • A higher-level degree may substitute for experience
    • Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education
  • Ability to complete scheduled, routine tasks quickly and efficiently without close supervision
  • Must be capable of climbing stairs, ladders, and working on a stationary ladder
  • Familiarity with the safe use of tools and cleaning products
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience working with hand and power tools

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $19.09 - $26.25. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.

This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance.
