About The Role

The Janitor plays a critical role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards at the CE Overisel Compressor Station and CE Overisel Field Office. This position ensures that all designated areas are kept clean, safe, and orderly to support the overall operational efficiency and well-being of employees and visitors. The janitor will be responsible for routine cleaning tasks, waste disposal, and upkeep of facilities to create a welcoming and professional environment. Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are essential to prevent hazards and maintain compliance with health regulations. Ultimately, this role contributes to a positive workplace atmosphere by ensuring that all spaces are sanitary and well-maintained.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in janitorial or custodial work preferred but not required.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work independently.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in an industrial or consumer support services environment.
• Familiarity with safety standards and protocols related to facility maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting floors and surfaces in offices, restrooms, and common areas.
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in accordance with company policies and environmental guidelines.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenishing supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper as needed.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor promptly.
• Follow all safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals responsibly to ensure a safe environment for all personnel.
