Our client, a leading automotive industry organization, is seeking an Automotive Design Engineer to join their team. As an Automotive Design Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting vehicle component development and design projects. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range:
Hourly rate between $38 and $48/hr
What's the Job?
Design and develop automotive components using 3D (CATIA V6) and 2D CAD software
Create detailed component and assembly models for various vehicle projects
Prepare preliminary and concept designs by gathering necessary information
Evaluate and analyze design prototypes for quality and functionality
Coordinate with manufacturing teams to ensure design feasibility and quality standards
What's Needed?
2-3 years of relevant experience in automotive component design
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD modeling, preferably with CATIA V6
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and adhere to standard codes
Strong project management and data analysis skills
