QUALIFICATIONS AND DESIRED SKILLS: Six years or more experience in Purchasing is preferred, Nutraceuticals/Pharmaceuticals are a plus. Strong interpersonal skills to work with team members, clients, and suppliers. Good attention to detail to ensure all purchase orders are accurate. Ability to work with a team. Math skills to make sure all calculations are correct and avoid any unforeseen losses for the company. An energetic, forward-thinking, and creative individual with high ethical standards and a positive professional image Ability to be flexible and function comfortably in a fast-paced environment. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, suppliers, and colleagues. Knowledge of ERP Systems and SysPro a plus. An understanding of purchase order software platforms ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Preparation of purchase orders according to lead time, MOQ, and price Establish and follow purchasing activities according to supplier lead times and internal testing times. Manage demand for commercial. Manage demand for R&D projects. Responsible for ordering and coordinating materials and/or services for production, office, and/or staff. Processes orders, change orders, order confirmations, RMA's, and other transactions daily using the MRP system. Coordinate and schedule logistics for incoming components - domestic and international. Coordinate and manage with Procurement Manager efficiency for each component (MOQ, batch sizes, number of batches per delivery, etc.) to increase efficiency and reduce the cost of internal procedures (testing, handling, etc.) Coordinate and manage with Procurement Manager available forecasts for components to increase "buying power." Maintain safety stock according to the internal plan (Aspire) Maintain safety stock according to customer commitments. Maintain and share raw materials and packaging material availability for commercial POs and R&D needs as per Planner requirements. Be able to understand RM and PM specifications. Escalate to supplier, manage, and resolve any OOS materials, and rejected materials based on Quality Department resolution. Making sure raw materials and Packaging materials available as per the production schedule Maintained transparent and accurate communication with the team. Collaborate with the Procurement Manager for evaluation of quality, price, reliability, technical support, and availability of goods and services. Escalation of issues to Purchasing Manager Design purchasing strategies that ensure constant availability of inventory within the company's budget. Assesses financial risks of purchases according to schedule. Oversees inventory value vs. daily purchases. Maintains records and systems consistent with a professional approach to purchasing activities. Participates in process improvement activities or other special projects as assigned.

This is an onsite position Monday to Friday.
