The Measure of Hearts Foundation (EIN: 86-1870388) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving marginalized communities across South Los Angeles. We provide interim housing, reentry support, and wraparound services for foster youth, women and families, seniors, and formerly incarcerated individuals. Our mission is to wholeheartedly serve those experiencing homelessness and reduce recidivism by offering housing, employment, and supportive solutions that foster long-term self-sufficiency.
This role supports MOHF’s ability to track outcomes, evaluate programs, and provide high-quality care coordination for residents and clients. Volunteers will be trained in secure handling of protected health information (PHI) and organization-specific compliance procedures before assuming independent responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Enter client intake forms, housing applications, case management notes, and medical coordination data into MOHF’s HIPAA-compliant systems
Maintain accuracy, consistency, and timeliness in data entry.
Handle all confidential information in accordance with HIPAA and California medical privacy laws.
Assist with basic data audits, error checks, and secure file organization.
Report any data discrepancies or security concerns promptly to the Program Manager or Compliance Officer.
Participate in required training sessions and ongoing compliance refreshers.
Uphold MOHF’s values of dignity, compassion, professionalism, and confidentiality in all interactions.
