Miscellaneous Support Person with Summit County Citizen Circle

Basic volunteer duties involved with this assignment: Make copies if needed, escort client to restrooms, help with meeting set-up and teardown Complete paperwork when client is requesting financial assistance Basic volunteer qualifications involved with this assignment: Ability to speak with clients & operate a copier Who will be served by this assignment? Clients & Citizen Circle members What is the anticipated benefit of this volunteer service to those receiving the service? To ensure that the meeting opperates efficiently and effectively What specific skills will the volunteer need? Ability to walk around, operate a copier, and follow simple instructions Summit County Citizen Circle is looking for 4 or 5 volunteers to work on the 2nd Thursday of each month from 12:30 pm to 4:30 pm. The meeting location is The Front Porch at 798 Grant St., Akron, OH, 44311. Volunteer duties are to help pass out lunches, surveys, bus or gas cards, and help with other miscellaneous duties to clients who are all Justice Involved Individuals. These individuals have either been in jail, in prison, on probation or on parole and are reentering society.
