Overview

Insight Global is seeking a Project Manager to join our water/wastewater team in Plainville, CT. The ideal candidate will lead the engineering design and project management of industrial wastewater treatment design and design/build projects. This role requires a natural problem-solver with expertise in process design and strong communication skills. The selected individual will play a key role in expanding our water/wastewater services. Responsibilities include leading project teams, managing project performance, and maintaining client relationships. Travel up to 15% and business development activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams, manage project performance, and maintain client relationships.
• Oversee engineering design and project management for industrial wastewater treatment design and design/build projects.
• Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to deliver on project objectives.
• Engage in business development activities related to water/wastewater services.
• Travel up to 15% as required.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of professional experience with an engineering consulting or design firm.
• 3+ years as a Project Manager with a proven track record.
• BS degree in an engineering discipline.
• Ability to work in Department of Defense locations.
• Experience with designing water systems from new construction to upgrading or fixing system issues that arise.

• Experience with business development and client management.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
• Experience with lab water system design or other complex water challenges.

Base pay range

$100,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr
