Overview

Accounting Manager with a publicly-traded industry leader. The Accounting Manager is a high-profile, high-growth role involving a mix of accounting and management reporting, including special projects and process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Support the daily/weekly/monthly operations of the Accounting department
• Establish and maintain adherence to financial close deadlines
• Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles
• Review monthly/quarterly balance sheet account reconciliations
• Produce, interpret, and develop ad-hoc financial reporting as needed
• Assist the team with external audit requests
• Assist with various projects determined by Director/Controller to maintain/develop best practices related to tasks, workflow, and reporting from the Workday ERP system
• Other essential functions and duties may be assigned as needed
• Assist with intercompany transactions, consolidations and GAAP reporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting
• CPA required
• Minimum of 7+ years of accounting experience
• Experience at a publicly traded company highly preferred
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Strong problem-solving skills with minimal direction
• Great attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with multiple tasks and strict deadlines
• Quality-minded; motivated to identify and address errors
• Understanding of GAAP accounting principles and financial reporting requirements
