Accounting Manager – Own the Numbers, Shape the Future

Our client is a construction and property management company operating across the Omaha metro. They are redefining how remodels, renovations, and property management get done, building trust, innovation, and long-term impact.

They are looking for an Accounting Manager to be the engine behind the growth. This isn’t a back-office role—it’s a chance to directly influence strategy, profitability, and decision-making alongside the leadership team.

Your Impact:

• Oversee all day-to-day accounting and finance operations, ensuring speed, accuracy, and accountability
• Drive project-based financial clarity through pay applications, job costing, and cash management
• Partner with our Fractional CFO to build budgets, forecasts, and actionable insights
• Deliver timely, accurate financials, variance analysis, and strategic reporting to management
• Provide proactive insights into profitability by job and client, turning numbers into strategy

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s in Finance or Accounting (preferred)
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (must-have) and strong Excel skills
• Knowledge of construction-based accounting (cost-plus, % completion, project billing)
• A self-motivated problem solver who thrives on improving processes and workflows
• Familiarity with Buildertrend, Jobber, or Adaptive is a plus
