Responsibilities

  • The Unit Secretary assists with the day-to-day operation of various clinical areas of the Hospital.
  • Prepares paperwork, charts, patient records and the appropriate forms necessary to ensure medical orders are followed and recorded.
  • Routinely locates physicians, registered nurses, or staff to obtain information or advise of a medical situation.

Qualifications

  • High school graduate with some additional, specialized training preferred.
  • Well organized individual with excellent communication skills.
