Pay Information $2,502 per week About The Position Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: CVOR Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years required License: Valid state license required, pending licenses accepted Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS Must-Have: Level 1 experience required; open to those with Level 2 experience within a 250-mile radius Description: Must work 2 out of 3 winter holidays. Shift hours are from 11:00 to 23:30. Rotating schedule includes Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. Cardiac call consists of 6-10 call shifts per 6-week schedule, including one 24-hour Saturday and one 24-hour Sunday call shift. Cardiac weeknight call is from 17:00 to 07:00. Both scrubbing and circulating are required. Experience in heart/lung transplants is a plus. Experience with LVAD and TAVR is beneficial. Knowledge of CABG, MVR, AVR, Mini Mitrals, and Aortas is a plus. When CVOR census is down, staff will float into general OR to support patient care and cases. Candidates may be required to float within their scope of practice. References are required. Nursys verification is necessary for submittal.
