Talents Needed for Success:
5+ years of IT experience with proven expertise in performance engineering (analysis, testing, and tuning)
Experience developing simulators in multiple languages, such as Java, PL SQL, Python for simulating performance load.
Experience with performance diagnostics/monitoring tools such as DynaTrace or AppDynamics
Experience with JMeter, LoadRunner or custom load generation tools
Strong performance analysis skills, including system metrics and thread/heap dump analysis
Broad experience with multiple middleware and data store technologies, such as message queues, relational databases, non-relational databases, caches, stream processing, batch processing
Extensive knowledge of Linux operating system, especially process/system monitoring and performance measurement
Experience with AWS cloud services are preferred
In-depth experience with Java application servers is a huge plus
Experience with JVM tuning of heap size and garbage collection is good to have
Experience with database query optimization and analysis is a plus
Familiarity with JMS or MQ
Familiarity with log ingestion and analysis tools, such as Splunk
Experience with CI/CD pipelines on Jenkins and source code control/repository is a plus
Experience working with Agile development teams
