Description
Purpose of the position: Arizona Snowbowl Parking Hosts are tasked with the essential job of bringing the culture, energy, customer service, and safety guidelines of Snowbowl to every part of the mountain. Parking Hosts work together as a team to provide guests with a smooth and safe parking experience, all while being the welcoming face of the resort.
Qualifications
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide a good first impression for guests at the resort by assisting them with positivity and professionalism. Help direct guests to the lodges, correct parking lots, and lifts in a friendly and informative manner Work with your team to ensure parking procedures are accomplished daily Direct traffic to correct parking lots, and ensure a smooth and safe flow of traffic Communicate via radio with team to facilitate smooth operations Help identify and potentially resolve any possible safety concerns Help to mitigate slippery surface hazards in pedestrian and vehicle areas using cinders Assist customers who get stuck in the parking lots by removing snow and applying cinders for traction when reasonable and safe to attempt Utilize and deploy parking and safety equipment up to 50 lbs Report any dangerous or illegal activity in the parking lots to your supervisor Call Ski patrol via radio or phone to communicate emergencies Keep the resort clean by helping to pick up trash when seen Assist resort with snow removal Understand Snowbowl Policies Other duties as assigned Job Requirements:
Customer service experience Reliable transportation Willingness to arrive and perform on early mornings Necessary equipment to safely navigate and stay warm in mountain conditions. These include but are not limited to; snow boots or other proper shoes, warm winter jacket, gloves, hat, waterproof or resistant pants. Effective communication skills Ability to thrive both independently and as part of a team Physical Requirements/Working conditions
Ability to stand for long periods of time Ability to lift up to 50lbs Ability work outside in mountain conditions Ability to maneuver on uneven surfaces Must be able to stand for long periods of time 75-90% of workday may be spent outside
