What You’ll Work On
- Work holistically across ARPA-H to support digital forensics and investigate cybersecurity incidents.
- Investigate physical and virtual assets to support security and integrity across Windows, MacOS, and iOS operating systems.
- Conduct investigations using Microsoft Defender, CrowdStrike, and common digital forensics tools.
- Work within Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS) to assess risk posture of technical projects.
- Identify and evaluate risks associated with ongoing technical projects and programs and propose solutions to mitigate risks.
- Build strong relationships and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams.
- Communicate complex cybersecurity concepts to varied audiences.
You Have
- 5+ years of experience managing evidence collection, preservation, and chain of custody
- 5+ years of experience in the development of standard operating procedures and playbooks for conducting digital forensic investigations
- Experience performing forensic imaging and analysis of physical and virtual devices
- Experience coordinating with legal, privacy, and incident response teams during an investigation
- Bachelor’s degree

- 7+ years of experience managing evidence collection, preservation, and chain of custody
- 7+ years of experience in the development of standard operating procedures and playbooks for conducting digital forensic investigations
- Experience with U.S. government or R&D health organizations
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities
- Ability to manage multiple short- and long-term projects effectively
- Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Master’s degree
Compensation
Salary at Booz Allen is determined by factors including location, the individual’s education, knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, contract-specific affordability, and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
