As an Automotive Technician, Goodyear offers opportunities for growth and development within Goodyear Auto Service centers. You will professionally inspect, diagnose, and perform automotive services while delivering an excellent guest experience. You will have the opportunity to mentor and continually learn about new technologies in the rapidly changing automotive industry, while also working in a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot problems and demonstrate strong diagnostic skills
- Inspect, repair and diagnose systems including brakes, suspension, alignment, engine performance, air conditioning, and coolant systems
- Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions; promote teamwork to deliver on-time and accurate guest care during operating hours
- Maintain expected standards of sales, service, safety, and housekeeping; use protective equipment when operating machinery and tools
- Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods, including lifting, standing, bending, and squatting
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older and have a valid driver's license
- Must have three years of experience in automotive repair, including diagnosis, problem-solving, and repairs
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future
- Preferred Qualifications: ASE A4 (Steering and Suspension) and A5 (Brakes) certifications and State inspection licenses and/or MAC certified
