General Description of the Job (tasks, duties, roles, expectations): This is a seconded position, meaning the selected candidate will be employed by ITAC but work full-time on assignment with one of our clients. While day-to-day responsibilities will be managed on-site with the client, ITAC provides ongoing support, resources, and benefits as your employer. The Energy Marshal ensures all energy-related activities, including overseeing Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, electrical isolation, and re-energization efforts, meet or exceed company safety policy requirements. This role demands an in-depth understanding of electrical systems, exceptional leadership in safety protocols, and the ability to collaborate across multiple stakeholders, including the project management team, commissioning agents, client representatives, and subcontractors. The Energy Marshal is ultimately responsible for safeguarding personnel and equipment from hazards associated with the energy management processes on-site. This is an in-person role that requires the Energy Marshal to be on site five days a week. The contract duration is approximately six (6) months with the potential to extend longer. Requirements 5+ years of industrial and/or manufacturing experience Well-experienced with LOTO procedures for both electrical and mechanical sources of energy Plant engineering experience a plus Background in industrial work Knowledge of plant infrastructure and equipment installation design Good communication skills Ability to work as part of a team Benefits From internships to seasoned professionals, our growing company provides career opportunities for all levels of experience.
