Job Description:

SUMMARY The Coordinator, Transfer Services is responsible for coordinating the daily operations of the Transfer Centers college-wide, delivering comprehensive administrative support for transfer planning,maintaining transfer services database, which includes data gathering, tracking and reporting, and providing effective customer service to the College's diverse clientele (students, alumni, veterans,community, and four-year university representatives).

ESSENTIALFUNCTIONS

Operates as the on-site representative for the Transfer Center and provides comprehensive customer service support to students, alumni, veterans, community, and four-year representatives. Accountable for database management for transfer services, data collection, online tracking and filing, accurate and timely program reporting, and analysis (identifies trends, concerns/issues, etc.). Coordinates and ensures external advisor visits from four-year universities. Assists Transfer Center Specialists with the facilitation of classroom presentations as needed. Assists with departmental communications, including website maintenance, social media updates, and deployment of established communication plans. Coordinates transfer programming including transfer fairs, celebrations, campus visits, workshops, and training sessions; schedules resources, oversees session enrollment, conducts reminder calls, arranges supplies, provides on-site support, processes client feedback surveys, and follow up. May assist with monitoring the department budget, processing invoices and ordering department supplies as needed. Provides functional supervision to part-time clerical staff and may direct Work-Study students. Attends committee and taskforce meetings as requested by Transfer Center staff; serves as representative for the Transfer Center and participates accordingly. Anticipates and meets all customer needs professionally, effectively, efficiently, accurately, and with an unwavering commitment to outstanding customer satisfaction. Coordinates and arranges meetings, makes appointments, prepares agendas, reserves and prepares facilities. Determines proper disposition of all community and four-year school communications (telephone, e-mail, letters, etc.). Answers calls, resolves issues, prepares written correspondence, and responds independently as appropriate. Performs other related duties within the job grade and job classification as assigned. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATIONand EXPERIENCE/TRAINGING

Associate's degree Minimum of two years of student services/special programs experience in an academic environment. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES

Skills in keyboarding, basic math and grammar, and intermediate level word processing (MS Word) and spreadsheet applications (MS Excel) Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent organizational skills Excellent customer service skills Demonstrated ability to multi-task and meet deadlines Sensitivity to respond appropriately to the needs of the community PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATIONand EXPERIENCE/TRAINING

Bachelor's degree Website content management systems and social media platforms experience. Database management and presentation software skills Banner navigation experience. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS,and ABILITIES

Working knowledge of scheduling and collaboration software Familiarity with scheduling meetings using virtual meeting tools e.g., Webex PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS

The work is performed in a normal, professional office environment. The work area is adequately lit, heated, and ventilated. Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to perform the duties of the job and will perform repetitive motions with hands/fingers using a computer mouse and keyboard to type. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying light items such as papers, files, pamphlets, books, etc. Work may also require walking and standing in conjunction with travel to and attendance at meetings and conferences away from the worksite. Must be able to occasionally lift ten pounds unassisted.

Special Note: SEIUFull-Time Position: This is a Full-time (1199/SEIU) BargainingUnit Position, Grade 08. Full-time(1199/SEIU) bargaining unit employees at Cuyahoga Community College will beconsidered first for vacant positions.

Target Hiring Rate: Minimum salary $50,891.00/annually

If hired, you must reside in the state of Ohio and be within commuting distance of this work location/campus to respond to onsite work demands upon the employment start date and throughout the duration of your employment with the College, as outlined in 3354:1-40-01.1 Recruitment and Selection Procedure.
