For more information and resources, please visit our .Amy BaskinHistory2025-10-10-## JOB PURPOSE:The position of Miller 4th English/ History Office Assistant requires someone who has the ability to work efficiently and independently. A self-starter who can assume responsibility for daily tasks. They should be able to multi-task and be flexible to the changing needs of both the English and the History departments, and happy to assist all fourth floor faculty, staff, and students. Responsibilities include working on department newsletters, designing posters/flyers, communicating departmental news using social media sites, errands, restocking office and common area supplies, copying/ scanning, data entry, and more. Ideal candidates bring warmth, professionalism, and curiosity to the post as well as a desire to encourage students, visitors, faculty, and staff and make them feel welcome in the Miller 4th community.
