Jacobs
At Jacobs, we're transforming intangible ideas into innovative solutions designing the future - today. As a Process Engineering Graduate with Jacobs, you will too!
We're looking for an Entry-Level Process Engineer who is excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our clients' business. Join our Life Sciences team in Indianapolis and you'll have the chance to work on state-of-the-art projects, implementing, modifying and maintaining process designs, while assisting with the development of Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs). You'll have the opportunity to model and simulate complex processes, ensuring proper sequencing for unit operations, as well as develop process specifications. We'll rely on you to direct activities ensuring that construction, installation, and operational testing conform to functional specifications, recognized codes and standards, and customer requirements - so we can make impacts on the world, big and small, global and local.
You'll be accountable for the schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks, as you gain familiarity with the client's expectations, scope, budget, and schedule. Under the guidance of professional engineers, architects, and other senior technical staff you will establish process design basis, develop process options and optimizations of selected design, and calculate and organize data for process flow sheets. You'll be surrounded by expert mentorship opportunities to help you thrive in your new career.
